Have students answer comprehension questions as we answer them together in class. Spanish 2 Warm up with Ser vs. estar WS (workbook). Go over power point of reflexive verbs and then have them start their creative storyboards. Spanish 3 Go over the formula for the subjunctive. Have them practice some as a group from the Subjunctive fill in the blank packet. Then give them an identity dilemma that they will have to show their wishes and recommendations for using the expressions of W and R. Spanish 2 Warm up with practice Ser and estar. Go over reflexive power point of verbs as if we were narrating someone’s story. Have them write it down as we go. Have them finish storyboard. If they have finished have them make flip chart to study for the exam. Spanish 3 Go over the subjunctive formula with expressions of emotion and impersonal expressions. Explain assimilation and have them watch a related Univision clip. Have them blog their opinions on blackboard using impersonal and expressions of emotion. Spanish 2 Warm up with ser vs. estar. Short quiz reflexive verbs. Go over the dialogues again from Mexico. Have them note down all of the different options for the dialogue to study for the remediation on Thursday,. Spanish 3 Quiz on the WEIR of WEIRDO for subjunctive uses. Show them movie clip from Real Women Have Curves and Raising Victor Vargas. Have them respond to the assimilation issues in the movie using the subjunctive of doubt and indicative of certainty.
