I . Introduction Handicap International
•HI Belgium was set up in
1986.
•In 1997, co-win the Nobel
Prize as member of the
international campaign to ban
landmine.
The mission and the mandate
of HI is to support programs on
prevention of disability and also
on rehabilitation and inclusion
for people with disabilities.

and countermeasure in long term (support for

complete data collection system via internet
• Next step: Merge hospital and police data
collection to increase accuracy

based on the implementation of communitybased road safety action.
