Along with information about gas prices, this site has the map for gas taxes across the country and a US
map with prices by county and gas price heat maps for states.

This site not only has all sorts of information about geology, but it has links to state maps, world maps and

This site has tons of options for making your own maps. You chose what you want to have displayed such
as climate, transportation, water, agriculture, etc. You can have basic maps or fill them in with information
on roads, counties and cities and towns. You create layers and the redraw the map.

How surveillance prevents terrorism?
There are many amazing maps online
that many patrons may not know about.
It is important that we, as librarians,
show them various types of maps for
different interests and how easy they
are to access.
