Student Information Sheet
Before submitting the Student Information Sheet to the UGA Regulatory Affairs
Program, students should be aware of the following program characteristics and criteria.
Your submission of this profile sheet acknowledges your understanding and willingness
to abide by these criteria.
1. This abbreviated application applies only to the Regulatory Affairs (RA) or
Clinical Trials (CT) Certificate Programs. It does not apply to the RA Master’s
Program.
2. You can apply only to one certificate program at a time, not both.
3. Understand the price deferential before you enroll in the RA Program. We
operate on an e-rate basis. Check with the UGA Registrar’s or Bursar’s
office for pricing information.
4. You must be currently enrolled in a UGA or GA Tech Graduate program in order
to use this abbreviated application form.
5. The RA and CT Certificate programs are part-time programs ONLY. At no point
do we offer a full cadre of course offerings.
6. Our program is about 90% online using the course management system
supported by the University of Georgia.
7. Students are expected to participate in all live or face-to-face sessions.
Face-to-face session will occur on the UGA Gwinnett Campus evenings or
weekends. Each instructor will identify class meetings on his/her course syllabus.
8. As a graduate student, your home program is the program into which you were
admitted. For advising you should always seek clearance from your academic
advisor. However, you must get RA Department permission to enroll in RA and
CT courses.
9. The RA Program is a PC-based program, not a MAC/Apple. All of the content
and lectures are intended to be viewed in a PC-based Operating System. If you
opt to use another operating system, you will need to get support elsewhere,
such as UGA’s EITS Department.
10. The recommended web browsers for this program are Internet Explorer and/or
Mozilla Firefox.
11. All assignments must be submitted as PC-based programs, like MS Word
(.docx), Excel (.xlsx) or PowerPoint (.pptx).
12. Important information is communicated to students vis-à-vis the listservs
maintained by the Regulatory Affairs Department. The University recognizes
email as an official means of communication. Students are expected to check
their University e-mail account, or the account to which their University e-mail is
forwarded. Thus, it is your responsibility to regularly check your email account
for important departmental communication.
