No. Exchange students are required to live on-campus, but housing is not guaranteed. There
is a housing shortage in Denton so students should apply for housing as soon as they receive
their official acceptance package with their EUID (a UNT user ID). Students are only able
to live off campus in the event that no on-campus housing is available and would be
responsible for securing it on their own.
Is housing guaranteed?
Students must adhere to all university housing deadlines regarding housing applications,
deposits and fees. Most accommodations are double (2) bed rooms. For on-campus
residence hall options and semester costs, review the following website:
http://reslife.unt.edu/residence_halls.
At the time of application for housing, students must make a $400 pre-payment fee at time
of application: https://reslife.unt.edu/rates/faqs.
