Lesson Plan Title of lesson: vocabulary test 2; Huck Finn discussion; Huck Finn writing questions; read Huck 4-6 Overview of Lesson: 1. The students will take a vocabulary test for unit 2, in which they guess words from context, give definitions and answer from multiple choice options. 2. The students will review some of the features of Huckleberry Finn within the first three chapters, focusing mainly on the events that transpire in Chapter 3. 3. The students will read chapters 4-5 in class, with Chapter 6 assigned for homework. 4. The students will write a 1 ½ page response to several question focusing on how their lives mirror certain themes found within Huck Finn.
