LOWER MAINLAND WEST REGIONAL DEBATE CHAMPIONSHIPS West Point Grey Academy is proud to invite you to the Lower Mainland West Regional Debate Championship on Friday, January 18th (Seniors only) & Saturday, January 19th, 2013. All three categories (Seniors, Juniors and Grade 8s) will be held at West Point Grey Academy and your Tournament Directors are Ms Tracey Lee, Lindsay Spencer and Kees de Ridder. As we are hoping to encourage schools to send their most competitive teams, we remind you of the DSABC policy that requires debaters to have must have attended at least one local, regional, or provincial debate competitions over the past year to be eligible to advance to Regionals. The registration cap for each school is 5 teams and we encourage participating schools to send teams in each of the three categories. Please include any extra teams for a waitlist; we will contact you as soon as possible after the registration deadline to inform you if any wait-listed teams will be allowed to compete. The registration deadline will be the first week back from Christmas Holidays on Tuesday, January 7th, 2013 at midnight, though we encourage schools to send their registration information as soon as possible in order to facilitate the organization of the tournament.
