Collecting the Data on Campus Mendelsson Convocation Center

How do leaders learn what their community wants and needs? In this session we will engage with a model for collecting information that can be used to make data based visions for your community. We will learn and practice engaging in one-on-ones and will talk about how to collect information from these conversations that strikes at the heart of what your community most needs.

How do leaders use data to address large and small problems in their communities? In this session we will discuss how data can be collected and mined to understand the needs of our communities and how we can use this data to determine where and how to begin to transform our communities. In this session, we will practice this process by collecting data on to solve a design problem Columbia's campus.
