Define the tasks in a multistep, multiple resource research project and formulate viable research problems Strategize appropriate sources for information needs Differentiate between resources and select appropriate resources Locate information within resources by strategizing key terms and subject headings for databases, and by using the navigation tools in print reference Analyze, synthesize and present content Cite their sources in MLA format Evaluate information according to a rubric Create an annotated bibliography Knowledge base: What does the student need to know to do it well? Students need to keep up with the reading of their shared text and have a group topic. 5. Activity: How will the student learn? Students will learn from an IL workshop with a mix of lecture, participatory demonstrations, small group hands-on exploration of print reference with group sharing, and hands-on time with the databases working on team topics. 6. Demonstration of learning: What will the student do to show what they have learned? Students will ask questions and contribute to discussion and team-work in IL workshop, successfully complete the worksheets and leave with relevant article titles. Students will complete an annotated bibliography in MLA format, an evaluation checklist of their free web resource, and a task checklist. 7. Criteria: How do you know the student has done this well?
