Studying BA Journalism at Glamorgan University. I consider myself an
adaptable person. I strive to do my best in everything . I enjoy learning
new things. I work well under pressure. I am well organised and have great
communication skills. I’ve gained experience in local and regional press, as
well as online.

Women’s Cycling UK, Projekt 313, The Daily Cy cle, World Bike Parks, Trail 42.
I have written various guest blogs, proofread press releases, written feature
pieces, used social media to find story leads and interviewed industry
professionals for articles.
Live Event work for the British Downhill series 1 st -2 nd June 2013 at
Innerleithen. Updated the BDS Facebook and Twitter with results, photos and
news throughout race day.
29-30 th June helped with the camera setup for the live feed as well as mixing
footage during the race of the BDS in Llangollen. Interviewed Taylor Vernon
and Rachael Walker and other riders in the pits.
Live tweeting from Dirt Magazine’s Twitter for the first r ound of the UCI World
Cup in Fort William 9 th June 2013 and Val di Sole on 16 th June 2013. Posted
tweets alongside the live feed and live timing to update followers on the latest
news and results from the race.

Work Experience
Over the years I’ve been on work experience at ‘The Western Telegraph’ I’ve
gained invaluable experience. I found leads for stories, researc hed and wrote
articles and interviewed people for stories. Attended editorial meetings,
accompanied reporters to court, took photographs to supplement articles and
visited the local town to gather Vox pops for stories.

Work Experience
Updated the WYGU Facebook and Twitter to generate users and update
followers. Researched information to update company information on the
website and helped design the newsletter .
