Vocab Units 1-6 (approx. 60 questions) For the vocabulary section of your midterm you will be responsible for knowing units 1-6 in your vocab book. All questions will be multiple choice and will involve knowing definitions, synonyms, and usage. How to study: Circle those you DO NOT know and make your trouble list for Units 1-6. Create a table like the one below in your own notes. o Use your vocab book, vocab activities, and any study notes you took to help you re-learn these words. Write a sentence for each word on your trouble list, or select a topic you like. Review the sentences you’ve written in class. Plot questions (to the point in the play we reach in class by the midterm) In order to be successful at this portion of the midterm, you should review your study guide and other handouts/notes 2. Quote identification In order to be successful at this portion of the midterm, you should review any quotes we discussed in class and your notes. You may also want to practice illustrating quotes pictorially. IV. Essays and Short Answer 1. SHORT ANSWER (minimum 1 paragraph) Topic: Symbolism and Short Story FCAs: Displays understanding of symbolism Correctly identifies and defines the significance Develops analysis through adequate textual support and elaboration (CQARVT) 2.
