JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: REGIONAL MANAGER - LAST MAN STANDS LTD REPORTS TO: Managing Director Last Man Stands Ltd PRIMARY PURPOSE: ensure the on-going success and growth Last Man Stands (LMS) throughout England; be responsible for increasing participation in LMS cricket and generating income; play a vital role in increasing the number of LMS franchises; PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: to set up and run new leagues in identified target areas negotiate user agreements with venue owners market and promote leagues in new areas recruit teams and players in new areas recruit and train suitable umpires/scorers and venue managers ensure a high standard of customer care identify potential franchise holders and promote the franchise opportunity in target areas Identify potential venues for non-turf pitch installation in target areas Liaise with county cricket boards and county sports partnerships as appropriate to maximise publicity, promotion, support and the recruitment of players and teams Work closely with LMS Managing Director and LMS Operations Manager to maximise the growth of LMS JOB CONTEXT: LMS is in a period of rapid expansion across the country. The Regional manager will work in areas where LMS is currently unavailable and set up new leagues. This will be in the context of a new 4 year agreement with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) who are actively supporting the expansion of LMS as part of their adult participation strategy within their whole sport plan.
