
When you are absent, you MUST turn in an excuse
to Mrs. Crowe, the attendance clerk, within two
days of your absence or an unexcused absence will
be recorded. Only three parent excuses are allowed
per nine weeks.

Every unexcused absence will require that you
attend Saturday School, and you will receive a zero
for ALL work assigned on the day of the absence.

Assignments missed due to school-sponsored
activities should be completed before the absence
occurs.

You will be assigned 5 hours of Saturday
School for every unexcused absence that you
receive.

If you have an excused absence, the due date of
the work assigned will be extended 1-2 days.

Any assignment made prior to your absence will
be due on the given date or upon your return.

It is your responsibility to get all make-up
assignments.

You are considered tardy if you are not in the
classroom when the tardy bell begins to ring.

After two tardies in any class period, each
subsequent tardy will result in one day of ISS.

The outside door to my classroom may be
used as an exit but NOT as an entrance.
Adjust your time between classes accordingly.

If you are caught using your cell phone
in any capacity without my permission,
you will immediately receive an office
referral.

I will not ask you to surrender your cell
phone, and there will be no discussion
about the need for a referral.

Homework is graded using Homework
Quizzes.
* Homework is 20% of your class average.

Tests are given as needed. Dates are
indicated on your syllabus.

 A = 90-100
 B = 80-89
 C = 70-79


As a high school student, you are now on a
credit system.

You must earn 28 credits to receive a high
school diploma. Four of those credits must
be from your math classes.

You can NOT advance to your next math class
until you pass Algebra 1.

At the beginning of each nine weeks you will
receive two classroom passes.

These passes can be used in two ways:
- Attach a pass to a test or homework quiz
for 5 bonus points.
- Present a class pass to leave the room—
restroom, library, retrieve forgotten
materials, etc.

I am available before school on Mondays
and Wednesdays from 8:05-8:25 a.m. to
help students. Enter through my outside
door.
