Bottle stall took £250.70 all profit – probably the most taken at a fete. The committee felt that having the fete on a Friday was a good idea – worked well with the parents being able to look around the fete before collecting the children. A fun afternoon had by all. Kirsten will make cakes. Mrs Kelly would like Paul to talk about the PTA and what events we do and how we support the school. AGM Tuesday 8th September, 9 am, Craft Room. It was decided to have the meeting in the morning instead of the evening as most PTA members have to arrange baby sitters. Posh coffee and croissants to be available. Sports Day – 16th July – 9.15 am Kirsten will be ordering the strawberries from Morrisons, and buy cream to sell on the day. She will also buy some little plastic bowls. Will make the bowls up to sell beforehand. Mel to ask Margaretta to borrow her portable electric camping fridge to store the milk and cream. Karen suggested we do a programme of events – Tilly will undertake this job. We can charge £1.00 a booklet which will include entry to a Pimms Raffle. Ticket numbers to be on the programme. Mel to speak to team captains so they know what is expected of them. Each team can make up a team name and make badges. Captains to wear coloured t-shirts so they stand out – speak to Mr Healey. Louise says she can be at the gate to sell programmes. Gazebo to be set up night before by Kevin. Mel will have a short meeting with teachers to assign them station numbers.
