Course Description This is a survey class in the study of the history of the United States from colonial times to the present. Two semesters of US History are required for high school graduation in Georgia. The class is meant to prepare students to take the US History End of Course Test in May. Fifteen (15) percent will be taken off each day it is later, and after that, the grade will be a zero. If you are absent on the day an assignment is to be turned in, or a test or quiz is given, you have five school days from the next time you are present to make it up. After that, the above late work policy goes into effect. The syllabus may be updated as needed throughout the semester.
