The book will be divided up into sections, discussions will be held every 2 weeks. GLT discussed issues that we feel should be handled with a school wide policy: Dress code (especially no under garments showing) & late to class. Housekeeping School wide initiatives Teachers will monitor missing assignments for students to ensure that grades reflect ability. Teachers will continue to monitor dress code and discuss new follow the 7th and 8th grade policy which the administration supports. 1st time warning; 2nd time ld; 3rd time ld with sir and phone call home; 4th time after school det with sir and phone call home; 5th time office referral. This is for each class so teachers will need to find a way to monitor this. Please hang new poster. lateness policy with all classes so that students are hearing it multiple times from multiple teachers. We will impliment this for 2nd quarter. Arbutus MS Grade Level Meeting Agenda Topics Meetings will be conducted in a flipped format. Teachers will review the information/data prior to the meeting, to be able to discuss during the meeting. Student achievement data: grades, assessments PD topic: twice/monthly Interdisciplinary connections: share curricular concept topics to foster collaboration among content areas; once/monthly PBIS data: behaviors and next steps (chronic issues, red zone students, possible mentors for students reaching 3-6 SIRS, homeroom reminders for SIR hierarchy and Eagles bucks buyback, support from available human resources i.e. counselor, psychologist, etc) Other grade level activities
