General uniform items can be ordered whenever required and are all exchangeable if the sizing is not right. Only uniform that has the AGSOD logo on it
has to be ordered in bulk. Please see the order dates for this above. Please make sure you use the size guide on the notice board as AGSOD uniform

Health and Safety
Please can you NOT stand or sit at the door (at TGBS) and ask your children to not do so either. If you want to watch your child dancing
please attend the class review lessons, the dates for these classes are in the above chart
On a Saturday morning from 8:45am – 9:45am the landing outside the studio becomes very congested and dangerous. I would like to try the below
strategy to help ease the traffic on the landing
1. Parents waiting during the 8:45am class please can you wait down stairs if the black chairs are full up stairs, this will mean no sitting on the
floor or stairs, this should lead to less congestion on the hall way.
2. Lauren will bring your child down to you at the end of class.
3. Dancers who are waiting for the Freestyle 9:15am class, please can you wait down stairs until Lauren calls you up for your class. It would be
great if just dancers came up with Lauren and parents waited down stairs to again ease congestion.
If we can try this for a few weeks to see if this makes things better. If it doesn’t then I’ll try another strategy. During this hour it would be great if questions
are kept to a minimum so I can get the class started as quickly as possible. If you do have a question or need information regarding a matter let Lauren
know and she will pass this onto me and I’ll phone you as soon as I can.
Due to health and safety if a child is too ill to dance please keep them at home they will unfortunately not be able to watch lessons from September
onwards.
Practicing at home
It’s great that lots of students want to practice at home; this will definitely help them with their exams. If your child needs the music to practice to please
give me a blank CD and I will download the class music onto it. Also if you follow me on my YouTube channel I will be uploading tutorials to help them
with their home rehearsals.
Lower, middle and upper school
With immediate effect the reference to lower, middle or upper school will no longer be used at the dance school. This reference was originally
set up when we did our first show so that the stage crew could identify different groups of students. Now I feel these terms are outdated as students
often mix with different age groups. As the school has grown and more classes are delivered this system is no longer fit for purpose. From now on I will
refer to groups of students by their class grade and time of class
Questionnaire
Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the questionnaire at the end of last term. There was some really positive feedback and some
great new ideas and improvements. Please see the notice board for a detailed analysis of this.
Keep Up to Date
There is so much happening this year at dancing so please keep up to date by:
 Reading ½ termly newsletters, all letters handed out in class are also uploaded onto my website
 Following me on social media (facebook, twitter or Instagram). Visiting the school website www.amygreavescshoolofdance.com
 Reading the notice board regularly
Have a great time at dancing, regards Amy
