UT Quest Instructions

Step 1: Do you have a UT EID?
o If you already have one then go to step 2, if not then obtain a UT EID from
http://www.utexas.edu/eid. If you give the EID system bogus information,
you may not be able to retrieve your EID nor the password in the future. If your
email address changes, you need to return to this URL and correct it.
NEVER obtain a second EID, doing so can cause issues.

Step 2: Obtain the unique number of your course from your instructor. (see Below)
o Period 2: Unique # 12
Course: Per 2 AP Physics 2
Title: THS Semester 1 Per 2 AP Physics 2
o Period 3: Unique # 13
Course: Per 3 AP Physics 2
Title: THS Semester 1 Per 3 AP Physics 2
o Period 4: Unique # 14
Course: Per 4 AP Physics 2
Title: THS Semester 1 Per 4 AP Physics 2
o Period 5: Unique # 15
Course: Per 5 AP Physics 1
Title: THS Semester 1 Per 5 AP Physics 1
o Period 6: Unique # 16
Course: Per 6 AP Physics 1
Title: THS Semester 1 Per 6 AP Physics 1
o Period 7: Unique # 17
Course: Per 7 AP Physics 1
Title: THS Semester 1 Per 7 AP Physics 1

Step 3: Log into UT Quest
o Use the URL http://quest.cns.utexas.edu/student
o Click onto the Log into Quest link at the top right of the page
o Enter your login information
o Make sure that the "Hello" in the upper right-hand corner has your name.

Step 4: Register for your class.
o Under the MY COURSES tab, choose "ENROLL IN NEW COURSE"
o Supply the unique number in the box and choose "LOOKUP COURSE INFO"
o Select the appropriate course (if more than one option) and choose "REQUEST
ENROLLMENT"
o Your instructor has to approve your request before you can proceed in the course.
