WB = Workbook for Wheelock’s Latin, also counts as homework to be turned in on the day of
the exam.
Students should always do their best to complete the Practice and Review sentences and the
Sententiae Antiquae and be ready to go over them in class. The sentences will not be turned in,
but students will be asked to translate them in class, which counts toward the participation grade
for this course.
The passages for translation in each chapter of Wheelock indicated in the schedule below along
with the workbook pages for those chapters will be turned in before each exam and will count
toward the homework grade for this course.

The Fall Latin I MW 2:00-3:40 pm class’ Final Exam will be in the same time slot as the 2:30-3:45
class’ final, which is Wednesday, December 16 from 13:00-15:30 (1-3:30pm).
Turn in HW and WB for chapters 17, 18 before the Final Exam.
