You will make a Powerpoint or poster about the region of France that you chose last semester. On February 10 th your
Powerpoint or poster will be due (10pts). If you turn it in and it is complete before February 10 th you will receive an extra 5 points. THIS PROJECT IS A TEST GRADE.
Your PowerPoint or poster should include the following information:
Title Page/Title – 10pts
 Title (preferably the name of your region)
 Date (date due or date submitted)
 Map & Flag or Symbol
Physical Features/Climate -10pts
 Surface area
 Bordering bodies of water/areas or countries
 Geographical features (rivers, mountains, climate, etc)

 Products of the region (crops, industries, china, etc)
Principal Cities -10pts
 List the 3 main cities & their populations
 What is each city known for?
 Include an image for each
 Tourist Attractions
 Include 5 tourist attractions with a brief explanation of what they are

Oral Presentation – 10pts
There will be an oral presentation of your region on February 10 th and February 11 th . The presentation should be around 3 minutes but no longer than 5 minutes. Your presentation should be in French. I’ll provide you with phrases to help you.
Peer Evaluations – 10pts
Ten percent of your grade will come from your peers. On February 10 th and February 11 th you will receive a peer evaluation sheet and will list something that you liked about each presentation, an area where the presenter could have improved, and something that you learned. This sheet will be turned in after the last presentation and will count as a separate daily grade.
