Thank You! To all the wonderful Parent volunteers who have helped with the Group 4 Retreat, Brining in snacks for
the IB Café to welcome our German exchange students and in assisting with the Honors Breakfast in October.
We couldn’t do all this without you!
 IBPO Meeting - Monday, November 2nd 7:00pm in the Library:
Please join us for our next meeting: GWHS Counselor, Kelli Stephens will speak to our group about the college
application process. She will talk through how to develop a list, how to prepare applications and when to plan to
submit college applications for consideration. Please Join Us!
 Subway Coupons & Qdoba Cards
Hopefully you all received our fundraising letter for this 2015-2016 school year. We are selling Qdoba and Subway
coupon cards for $10 each. We are asking that each family purchase $30 worth of cards to resell to family and friends
or hold on to for your own use. Please send in your response form to the IB office today and Yvette will send home
your coupons with your student! I will also have them available at our November meeting!
 King Soopers & Safeway Cards
We still have a few grocery cards available for sale to King Soopers and Safeway. You can load and reload them
multiple times and it will earn you dollars towards your son or daughter’s testing fees. They are $10 each.
 Volunteer Opportunity
We have had an opportunity come up to raise funds for the IBPO by selling Colorado Eagles Chuck-a-Puck pucks and
tickets to the game. We have had several families come forward willing to help, but we need several more volunteers
to make it happen. It is for Saturday November 21st, which unfortunately is the same night of our music programs
West Fest Jazz & Desserts event, so that takes many parents out of the mix for working this event if their students are
in the music groups at West. Barb Brown has graciously offered to help organize this fundraising event, so if you
would like to help out, please e-mail her directly at 2downtown@comcast.net or you can e-mail me at
pepper.mueller@unco.edu and I will send it along.
 Fun Committee
On Friday, November 20th, the IBPO Fun Committee will be hosting our 2nd Annual Board Game Night at GWHS
Commons from 7-9pm. All MYP and DP students are invited to attend! We are asking all students to bring a snack to
share and their favorite board game. The IBPO will provide drinks. Tell you students to come for a night to just hang
out and not think about school work for a while!
