Survey Plan template Last updated: January 2015 A survey plan shows what will be surveyed or inspected and when. Developing a survey plan for each vessel in your operation is a requirement under Maritime Rule Part 19 . This template will help you to develop a survey plan in a form that is acceptable to the Director of Maritime New Zealand. You need to include your survey plan (or plans) when you send your application for a Maritime Transport Operator Certificate (MTOC) to Maritime New Zealand. The survey plan is part of your MOSS (Maritime Operator Safety System) Operator Plan. About this template You need one survey plan for each vessel in your operation. This template has seven sections: 1. Ship details 2. Scope of certification 3. Certificates and exemptions 4. Survey or inspection checklist 5. History of survey plan amendments 6. Survey items schedule 7. Survey plan approval. For detailed information about survey plans go to Developing a survey plan on the MNZ website: maritimenz.govt.nz Survey plan for Full name of ship Full name of Maritime Transport Operation Survey Plan template – version 3.0 Page 1 of 15 1.
