Important Instructions to KLiC Course Learner for year 201516 Batches: Admission: Applicant should 1. Ensure that s/he is seeking admission only to the Authorized Learning Centre (ALC) for KLiC Course, duly authorized by MKCL and having its details published on MKCL website: www.mkcl.org/klic 2. Ensure that s/he has duly filled in the pre-printed KLiC Course application form carefully and completely, signed the declaration and submitted to the ALC along with the prescribed fees before due date. Incomplete application shall not be accepted. 3. Attach a true copy of School or College ID card or PAN card or Voter's ID card or Driving License or Passport or Government's ID card as a proof of her/his identity including her/his name, photograph and signature and submit a signed photo copy of the same along with the application form. 4. Verify the medium of instruction i.e. English entered by her/him on the application form. Important Instructions and Dates: 1. Medium of Instruction is English (Some Courses may be offered in Marathi) 2. Eligibility : MS-CIT Passed preferred 3. Mark sheet by Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) and Expert Certificate by MKCL 4. Batch Commencement : one batch in each calendar month (January to December) 5. Date(s) of Application and Fee Payment by Learner: 1st - 15th day of each calendar month 6. Date(s) of Learner Confirmation by ALC: 1st to 15th day of each calendar month 7. Course Start Date and Date of Issuing ERA Login: Date of admission confirmation Fees: Regular Mode KLiC Course Fees Rs.3000 Page 1 of 3 Applicant should 1. Verify the amount printed on fee receipt and ensure that it equals the amount s/he has actually paid to the ALC. 2. Verify her / his name printed on this fee receipt and get it corrected, if required, within 24 hours of last date of payment. This name shall appear on her / his KLiC Course certificate. The request for the change of name on the certificate shall not be entertained later. 3. Note that fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. 4. Applicant shall be considered as registered learner only after -Admission procedure is completed by him / her and all installments of fees are fully paid by him / her. Academics & Evaluation: 1. Each Certificate Course of KLiC Diploma will be done separately. Evaluation Pattern for each KLiC Certificate Course (Total 100 Marks): A. Section 1 (auto-marking):25 marks : Learning Studying the sequential interactive eLearning content in ERA B. Section 2 (auto-marking):25 marks: Differential Skills Attainment Solving a requisite number of Take a Challenge and Take a Bigger Challenge exercises C. Section 3 (auto-marking): 50 marks: Integral Skills Attainment Final Online Examination Passing Criterion: Separate passing in Section 1 and 2 scoring at least 40% marks i.e. 10 marks out of 25 in each Section (Learner will get YCMOU mark sheet after completion of these 3 sections) D. Section 4 (to be evaluated by MKCL’s Expert Evaluation Team): Developing Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) Outputs and uploading them in the ePortfolio in the sequential learning process (Learner will get MKCL’s Expert Certificate after completion of these 4 sections) Page 2 of 3 Re-examination: Re-Exam fees: Rs. 200 per KLiC Course Please note that in the case of failure or absenteeism in the first available final online exam attempt, Learner can appear for re-examination for next two consecutive monthly available attempts by paying requisite fees. KLiC Diploma: The Learner/ALC will be able to take the admission for KLiC Diploma Course by following way: o Register the learner for any of the single KLiC Certificate Course (Course which is selected by learner) o Register the same learner for additional KLiC Certificate Courses’ by using same learner code through Re-registration Facility. o KLiC Diploma Certificate: If learner successfully completes 4 KLiC Certificate Courses’ by following above process in time span of 1 year then learner will be awarded KLiC Diploma Certificate. If learner successfully completes 5 KLiC Certificate Courses’ by following above process in time span of 1 year then learner will be awarded KLiC+ Diploma Certificate. If learner successfully completes 6 KLiC Certificate Courses’ by following above process in time span of 1 year then learner will be awarded KLiC++ Diploma Certificate. Page 3 of 3
