“The aims and objective of Shri Krishna Satsang Balika
Mahavidayalay is to nurture the educational endeavors
of the state by imparting to the youths of the state
generally of Shekhawati area particularly an efficient,
primarily university education with a view to give the
present system of Education an ethical, a moral and
social impetus. To this end, the institution shall
continually pursue steps as may be most conducive to the
attainment of the aims and objects. Above all the
institution shall try to instill in the girl students the ideals
of patriotism, healthy citizenship, and civic sense,
democratic values, secularism, social equality, justice,
upliftment of the weaker section of society and the last
but not the least sacrifice for humanity. ”
Now and then the management of the institution
persuades the staff to work hard for nation-building,
adhering to the significant human values and look
forward to achieve excellence to compete with global
standards. This all is tried to achieve by keeping the
students at the center, the students personality
development is taken care of. Very clear about this, that
the Institution itself has been devotedly rendering its
services to the students to serve humanity through all
college activities treating as its passion and motto.
Through our academic and extra-curricular activities
both the physical and mental hygiene of the society
through the student is intended.

their visits to the College-meetings enlighten both our
teaching and non-teaching staff so as to motivate then to
achieve the vision and mission. These devoted authorities
concentrate basically on the noble principles; they are
percolated naturally among the students and the society.
Persuasion, motivation an inspiration to the staff si from
the very beginning of every academic year from these
authorities.

Our academic calendar is prepared by Directorate of
College Education. This book gives a detailed account of
the academic year. The number of lecture days, holidays,
days of cycle tests and date of university exam. The
prospects also gives the information of different
scholarships The curriculum is executed in and outside
the classrooms shaping and fitting traditional values in
different frames (modules). The orientation of values and
the mission statement as it is related to the enlightenment
to the student and the society, our educational institution
conducts birth and death centenary programmes of the
great national leaders and the occasions are utilized for
orientation and awareness of rich heritage of Shekhawati;
along with this other staff gatherings (celebration of
Rajasthani folks and cultural rituals, etc.) are used for the
value orientation. College students attend these functions.
As far as classroom teachings are concerned, as and when
the references come to the missions and values of the
Institution, the teachers stress these values. Programmes
like classroom seminars and youth development, faculty
development programmes are also organized to achieve
our vision and mission.

Computer science, environmental studies and languages
(Hindi and English) are made compulsory to all first
year students which prepare them for the next coming
challenges. The topics literature and social sciences are
no doubt framed by the University of Rajasthan but our
faculty members are constantly pursue in such a way
that the students are made aware of the coming
challenges before the society, country and this world.
The study programmes surely deal with the
contemporary social, financial, political, moral and
human issues. Ecological and environmental awareness
are intentionally made a compulsory so that youth may
be made aware and conscious of ongoing environment.

curriculum. There is elected student union which is
always free to give valuable suggestions.

minute programme based on moral education is held

runs the programmes such as pulse polio, plantation and
literacy compaign from time to time.

2.1
Student Enrollment and Profile
2.1.1
How does the college ensure publicity and transparency in
the admission process?
The admission committee receives all the admission
applications and recommends the admissions as per the
rules and regulations. Girls from SC, ST and OBC are
given concession in admission fee and the same is
displayed on the notice board.
As regards the wide publicity to the admission process is
concerned, no doubt our college prospectus published
each year and website helps to talk at length with all
particular characteristics of our institution but along
with that we pursue advertisements in the regional and
local newspapers talking about our institution and the
concerned facilities available in our college, referring to
the significant facilities and available courses in our
college. We stress more the rural and remote areas as the
Aims and Objectives of our Institution inspire us. It is a
thing of much pride that parents are eager to send their
wards to our institution as it is run by devoted people and
sincere staff members.

Students in UG and PG programmes are admitted
strictly on the basic of rules and regulation. However, as
per the direction of State Government is some seats
remained vacant, girls having lower percent marks (36%)

Student having forty five percentage marks in art faculty

faculties may take admission. Seeing the increasing
numbers of students, a new section is further demanded.

(grasping) standards is judged through their responses
and the regularly conducted class-tests. Students from
both the categories are encouraged and provided needbased guidance and material, our faculty members are
instructed to guide such students with much care.

interview is arranged with their guardian, the real
position is assessed and the financial help is rendered.

The student is at the center of all activities which are
conducted in and outside the college. The activities include

personality. Director of College Education prepares the
academic calendar which is published thorough the
prospectus and also put on the concerned Notice Boards.

The academic year begins with the Principal’s address
the staff council meeting where the issue of teaching,
learning and evaluation is also stressed. The teaching
.learning and evaluation processes inclued regular
University exams, departmental class tests. Tutorials,
seminars discussions and paper-readings, The above
schedules have flexibility as per the needs. The evaluation
blue prints are already supplied by the University. Our
staff members evaluate our students not only as per the
University motives but also as per our institution’s aims
and objectives. The teachers regularly in advance prepare
lesson notes and plan the teaching- learning activities.

The college organizes seminar on different subjects
through U.G.C. grants which improve the knowledge of
the lecturers and keep them up to date. They get a
valuable guidance too.
