Visit other sporting-goods stores and compare the browsing experiences at each. Use Word, and Power Point, and Excel for your spreadsheet. RESEARCH: Do your research and find out the most important characteristics of good sporting-goods Web sites (Dick’s, Sports Authority, or Modell’s): Go to these similar Web sites and identify and assess their features. Get cost estimates for designing and implementing basic Web sites with purchasing features. This will require additional internet research. REPORT: Prepare a written report using the following tools, if available: Word: Prepare a written report with a site map outline and list of features, as well as a market overview and customer analysis.
