SAP Basis Security Analyst

Proposed Remuneration: $75 - $90/hour
Scope of the job:
Analysis, Configuration, Documentation, SAP Security Administration, Creation, Maintenance of Job roles and profiles for SAP ECC 6 and BW.
Job Details:

Develop and maintain security processes and procedures associated with the Vision application landscape.

Design, document and implement security standards, policies and procedures (i.e., BASIS, security,
 developer, table configuration, application, client landscape and transport)
Provide insight into functional/technical implications of specific functional requirements. Provide guidance

 on SAP best practices and solutions for specific functional requirements based on original blueprint and scope documentation.
Design, create and maintain security roles by job role requirements. Responsible for the creation and management of in Job roles and Profiles.
Setup and maintenance of user’s access for the project landscape. Provide daily support to the project by






 managing/controlling user accounts in the solution manager, sandbox, development, test, quality assurance and training environment.
Validate completeness of required documentation and identify the gaps in documentation or functionality, provide solutions for identified gaps.
Create functional/technical specifications for enhancements/ customizations, reports and forms for security roles and profiles. Assist in the design and development of reports to identify SoD exceptions and sensitive access transactions.
Coordinate configuration, testing and documentation tasks and follow up on the tasks with technical/business analysts assigned to the project. Coordinate the activities and tasks with Basis teams.
Development of test scenarios for new users and new roles in SAP ECC, SAP BW. Support and coordinate activities during the Integration Testing Phase. Ensure testing plans and documentation are kept updated.
Work closely with other functional/process team members and integration analysts to facilitate project progress and ensure delivery of an integrated system
Lead, facilitate and conduct security design sessions with functional and technical teams. Document meetings and decisions as required.
Produce high quality and on-time project deliverables using a Solution Manager /ASAP methodology.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience :
 University degree in Business administration, Computer Science, Information systems management or related field.
 Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in developing SAP security models in SAP ECC, SAP BW, CRM,
Netweaver.
 3-5 years of SAP Security Administration experience in SAP ECC, SAP BW.


At least one full life cycle SAP implementation from a security admin perspective.
Experience working in SAP ECC 6.0, Solution Manager methodology

Knowledge/Experience of SAP or third party GRC tools in a Public Sector scenario preferably in
International organizations.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must have the ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines

Must be able to work in multi-cultural and diverse environment .
