ABSTRACT
 The project involves the design of a
embedded system that can be used to
send & receive SMS through GSM
technology. Usage of this technology
accomplishes communication between the
embedded system and mobile phone.
The vital aspect involves the usage of a
GSM modem by means of AT (Attention)
commands.
MOTIVATION & OBJECTIVE
To utilize our skills towards design and
development of applications related to
GSM technology
 GSM is the latest technique used for
communication between the mobile and
the embedded devices.
The objective of the project is to send and
receive SMS by means of a GSM Modem
