Service Overview
6point6 is a specialist IT consultancy delivering architecture and technology services with a
subject matter expertise in Oracle Fusion Middleware. The 6Point6 Oracle Fusion Middleware
Service provides a cost-effective and comprehensive delivery capability encompassing Design
and Build project phases for systems utilising the Fusion Middleware product set. 6point6 is an
Oracle partner and we have key resources originating from both BEA and Oracle roots with
large scale implementation experience across both government and the private sectors. 6point6
has a strong Agile culture which complements our Fusion Middleware design and build services.

Service Description
The 6Point6 Fusion Middleware Design & Build Service encompasses the following:
Design
o Leverage Fusion Middleware tooling and techniques to accelerate solution design, for
example modelling business processes using BPMN notation in live workshops with key
business stakeholders.
o Mapping business requirements to the Fusion Middleware toolset to identify
appropriate use of the selected tools.
o Middleware and Integration design, including service contract definitions, service and
message catalogues, service implementation designs and business process designs using
Oracle Fusion Middleware best practices and open standards (UML, BPMN).
o User Interface design (ADF, WebCenter), including wire frames, screen flows and
graphic design elements.
o Participate in Design Authority as Fusion Middleware Subject Matter Experts.
Development
o Coding and configuration for Oracle Fusion Middleware software packages and
technologies:
o Oracle Business Process Management.
o Oracle BPEL Process Management Suite.
o Oracle SOA Suite.
o Oracle Service Bus.
o Oracle Business Rules.
o Oracle Service Registry.
o Oracle WebCenter.
o Oracle JDeveloper.
o Oracle TopLink.
o Oracle Web Services Manager, including design and development of custom WSPolicies and Assertions.
o Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF).
o Oracle Enterprise Manager, notably Fusion Middleware Control.
o Oracle Universal Content Management (UCM).

Oracle Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), including integration with nonFusion Middleware components.
o Oracle WebLogic Server and Coherence.
Setup and implementation of continuous integration tools and process.
o 6point6 also has wide experience in open-source delivery and we are able to
utilise this experience in conjunction with Oracle Fusion Middleware.
This unique blending of Fusion Middleware with non Oracle-specific Continuous
Integration frameworks offers the best of both the vendor-specific and Open
Source worlds.
Setup and implementation of automated testing tools and processes, notably test-driven
and behaviour-driven development.
Mentoring, team leadership and on-project training for relevant Fusion Middleware
technologies.
On-project Quality Assurance of Fusion Middleware technical deliverables, including
code, tests and all XML-related artefacts.
