Maple Leaf Early Years Centre, 33 Gade Street, Gwarimpa Estate, Abuja
INTRODUCTION TO MAPLE LEAF EARLY YEARS CENTRE
Our mission is to provide high quality child care services. These services include, but are not limited to child care, training services, consultancy and start-up services for new crèche and daycare owners, and Nanny Services.
Our early learning Centre, located in Abuja is based on the Canadian curriculum. We use an eclectic approach which is activity based because our philosophy is to make learning as fun and as wholesome as it should be. We are focused on the whole child – physically, socially, emotionally, as well as intellectually to ensure that young children get the best start in life to prepare them for success in the future.
Another service we provide and are passionate about is staff training and capacity building through our training department, Maple Leaf Training and
Professional Development Services. Here at Maple Leaf, we believe in continuous self and professional development, and as such, our staff training is ongoing and never ending. This is important because our world today is continuously changing, and as teachers of young children, we need to be constantly updated and informed.
Our Director here at Maple Leaf has had over 10 years’ experience working with children of various ages. With degrees in English from University of
Nigeria, and Early Childhood Education from Humber Institute of Technology,
Toronto, Canada, Mrs. Ify Nwigwe has made it her mandate to bring home the knowledge and experience she has garnered from working with children in
Canada, ranging from 3 months to 12 years of age.
We also provide Nanny Services under our organization, where the staff are also trained to be able take care of children in homes and hotels, giving
parents’ peace of mind, knowing that in their absence, their children are well taken care of by professional childcare givers.
We appreciate your interest in our services and look forward to providing your childcare needs effectively.
