Maple Leaf Entrance Award for Social Science Students -2015 Valued at $500 each; 4 awards are given annually to students entering their first full time semester in a Social Science program. The student may be starting the General Social Science Program (300.EA) or a profile; International Business (300.EH), Commerce (300.EB), Child Studies (300.EE), Environmental Studies ( 300.EG), Psychology (300.EP), Law, Society and Justice(300.EK), North-South Studies (300.EM), or Travel and Tourism (300.ET). Students must be studying full-time with 4 or more courses which must include at least one Social Science course. Winners will be chosen by a committee of three individuals who are employees of the College. Winners are selected on the basis of financial need, interest in the Social Sciences, and previous academic performance. Deadline to apply is 4 pm on Friday, November 3rd, 2015. You must be a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant in order to apply. International students are not eligible to apply. The award will be presented on November 25, 2015 at an awards ceremony and cheque will be mailed to the recipient’s home address.
