Respected Ma’am/Sir,
Waves 2014 was a phenomenal success with footfalls exceeding 35000 and the total turnover crossing INR 75 Lakhs,
while witnessing participation from over 150 colleges from across India.
Over the years, Waves has catapulted itself to the epitome of cultural brilliance, with previous years featuring
performances by Shankar Mahadevan, VH1 Supersonic, Kailash Kher, Vishal-Shekhar, Parikrama, Indian Ocean,
Junkyard Groove, the Goa State Symphony (featuring musicians from Europe) and more. Illustrious personalities such
as Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan, Mani Shankar (Bollywood director), Chandni Sahgal (MTV India ex- Country Head)
and VJ Bani (MTV host) have graced the fest. In 2012, we were the proud hosts to an official pre-Sunburn Event, the
first ever Sunburn Campus, the electro-dance music festival that has been a rage all over the country.
The ‘Big 4’ events of Waves are-Natyanjali: the art of dance, Mr. & Ms. Waves: the eternal search for the X-factor,
FashP: the fashion parade, and Sea Rock: one of India’s largest semi-professional rock band competition, which has
eliminations being held in major cities to bring together the best bands from across India. Along with the ‘Big 4’, other
equally enticing events include Dance Duo, Nukkad Natak, JAM, Silence of the Amps, Quizzes, Contention-the BITS Goa
Parliamentary Debate and more.

Appendix-A: Special Avenues for <Company>
1. Your company will be cited as the Official Sponsor for WAVES’15.
2. Database: We have a database of over 15000 college students from all around the country collected over the
years. We can share this database with your company.
3. Launch of Marketing Campaign of the your company in association with Waves’14: The campaign will last for
6 months and is assured to create hype about your company in BITS and all national colleges associated with
Waves’15.
4. Social Media Campaign: A social media campaign would be conducted for your company by our marketing
team for a period of 1 month by our marketing team on Facebook and Twitter, Reddit, Tumblr.
5. Photo Spots: There will be designated photo-spots all across campus where certain participants will be
required to get their photos clicked and submit it at the registration desk. These photo-spots will incorporate
your company’s logo and hence will provide to be an excellent method of publicity as these will be uploaded
onto various social networking sites.
6. A stall will be provided in the Marketing Pavilion, which attracts the largest crowd.
