If you're planning to attend the next Wellness Committee meeting on Thursday,
September 12, 11:30am – 1:30pm AND you would like us to provide you with a Chipotle
bowl or salad, please RSVP to Donna Sakayama (DSakayama@smcgov.org) no later
than Tuesday September 10 at 12noon.
We will order a basic salad or rice bowl consisting of brown rice, black beans, corn salsa,
tomato salsa, fajita veggies and lettuce. You will tell us which you want (bowl or salad)
AND your meat/topping: carnitas (pork), steak, chicken, veggies, barbacoa, or sofrita.
They will provide us with separate bowls of sour cream, guacamole, salsa and cheese for
you to add to your selection. Please visit www.chipotle.com if you wish to find out more
about these options and how they are prepared. There’s also a cool nutrition tab if you
want to calculate #calories. (P.S. one tortilla = 290 calories, that’s why we’re NOT
having burritos!)
The meeting will be held in Room 101, County Office Building, 455 County Center,
Redwood City. Please note that this will be a full 2-hour meeting.
You can pick up your lunch at 11:45am. Please note that our sit-down meeting will start
at 12noon.
Department Wellness Committee members are invited to attend this meeting.

The Wellness team is seeking your ideas and input about topics and health concerns
that you think employees need or want to know more about. What should we be
focusing on? Do more? Do less? Timing? Locations?
This will offer us guidance in planning our 2014 class schedule.
We may not have enough time today to gather everyone’s ideas and suggestions, and
we may continue this discussion in October.
