with, the Rules and Regulations of SET or TFEX, and will not cause any damage to the trading system of the
SET or TFEX. If this application becomes inaccurate, and/or the connection of the computer system incurs
any damage to SET or TFEX, the Company agrees to be responsible for all such damage incurred to SET or
TFEX.

Pre-Trade Control for Program Trading
Brokers applying for program trading are required to have pre-trade control to ensure that the orders are
comply with the rules and regulations of SET or TFEX, such as the securities’ name, order type, volume,
price and tick size.
 Having functions to immediately inactivate, stop or cancel orders of program trading orders by customer,
a group of customer or all customers (Kill Switches function)Having order screening system or procedure
to prevent the inappropriate orders that may affect the market, or lead to false market, such as
o Orders with the price changing by +/-X% based on the reference price (e.g. the previous
closing price or the last trading price)
o Orders with the price changing at every +/-X% of the reference price (e.g. the price of the first
entered orders, bid price or offer price)
o Several orders (X times) sweeping contra orders in the manner which attempts to push the
price up or down by X% or by X ticks
o Orders with a volume higher than X% of the total daily trading volume or total trading volume of
previous day
o A large volume of repeated orders such as X orders in n seconds
o Self-matching Prevention
 Having some functional system to prevent errors of the customers or the system, e.g. inconsistency of
securities, price and volume, repeated orders, or conflict orders.
 Having risk control checking for each customer e.g.
o Daily credit limit, trading volume and trading value for each customer
o Appropriated parameter checking to prevent order entry from customer error
o Maximum intraday long or short positions which the system will reject the order in the case of a
limit breach (Maximum Intraday Position) –TFEX only
