A GPS-based vehicle tracking system will inform where your vehicle is and where it has been, how long it has been. The system uses geographic position and time information from the Global Positioning Satellites. 2.OBJECTIVE: The main goal of this project is to develop a system which monitors the location of the vehicle all the times and sends the information to the caretaker via GSM Module with respect to Co-ordinates with the help of GPS Receiver. If accident happens to the car which has this module, then that information about the location and accident will send to the caretaker mobile via SMS with the help of GPS and GSM Module 3.BLOCK DIAGRAM: BUFFER RELAY DRIVER GPS RECEIVER FOR AREA TRACKING OUTPUT DEVICES BUZZER OR DC MOTOR AS WATER SPRINKLER M OR VISUAL INDICATION ACCIDENT ALERT ARM PROCESSOR SUPPLY 16 X 2 DISPLAY GSM TX +12 Volts +5 Volts GND 230 V, AC Supply TRANSFORMER RECTIFIER FILTER REGULATOR HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS: ARM 7 / Cortex M3, LCD, Relay Driver, Relays, Resistors, Capacitors, LEDs, Crystal, Diodes, Transformer, Voltage Regulator, Push Button. SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS: Keil compiler uVision 4, Language: Embedded C or Assembly, WLPRO Programmer 4.METHODOLOGY: This module consists of accident alert system, GPS Module, GSM Module, ARM controller unit and the output. If accident happens to the car which has this module in it, then that signal will be to applied ARM controller and the controller analyses the signal activates a buzzer to indicate accident has happened. The information about the location will be transmitted to the caretaker via GSM with respect to Co-ordinates which is received from GPS Receiver 5.ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES: ADVANTAGES: Flexible and reliable. This application is easy to install and easy to operate. More reliable than manual Operation. In this project losses are Minimal. This project can implement for Security of supply. Automatically controlled & Easy to use. DISADVANTAGES: It increases the cost whereas digital systems reduce the cost of system. High Cost. 6.APPLICATIONS: This system can be implemented in industries. We can implement this project in all vehicles. Where security is important there we can implement this project. Without much change in the circuit; it can be used with any 4 wheeler. 7.CONCLUSION: As this project is based on micro-controller(ARM7LPC2148), GPS and GSM and this is designed and developed a low cost system based on integration of GPS and GSM data is described. The system consists of different modules which are linked wirelessly with GSM modems. Cost effective SMS service of GSM network is used for the transfer of data between the modules. This service provides the information about the location of the place where the accident has happened via GPS and GSM Module. THANK YOU ANY QUESTIONS?
