**ACCT 1005 = Principles of Accounting I
(1) Panel A lists the Accounting Concentration Required Courses. There are seven of
them and students have to complete ALL SEVEN of them (21 units) for the Accounting
Concentration.
(2) Panel B lists an additional course ACCT3007 Cost and Management Accounting II
which is required by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).
Accounting Concentration students have to complete ACCT3007 (in additional to the seven
Required Courses from Panel A) in order to be eligible for the direct graduate entry to the
HKICPA qualification programme (QP).
(3) As shown, ACCT2005-6 Intermediate Accounting I-II are the pre-requisites of two later
Accounting Concentration Required Courses of ACCT4005 Advanced Accounting I and
ACCT4006 Auditing I. Students are therefore strongly advised to complete ACCT2005-6 as
early as possible, preferably in their Year 2.

**FINE 2005 = Financial Management
(1) Panel A lists the Finance Concentration Required Courses. There are four of them and
students have to complete ALL FOUR of them (12 units).
(2) Panel B lists the Recommended Finance Concentration Elective Courses. There are
seven of them and students are recommended to take any THREE of them (9 units) for the
Finance Concentration (in additional to the four Required Courses from Panel A). Please note
this is a recommended list only and students are free to choose any THREE courses of their
own choices from the list of Finance Concentration Electives included in the BBA Student
Handbook.
