About e-Governance Academy
• NGO founded for creation and transfer of
knowledge concerning e-governance (incl. edemocracy)
• Initiated in 2002 by the UNDP, OSI and the
Government of Estonian Republic (Memorandum
of Understanding)

• Mission- to train and advise leaders and top civil
servants in using ICT to increase government
efficiency and improve democratic processes
• Efficiency lies in: understanding of post-socialist
transition countries, fluency in Russian, network
of researches, trainers, consultants (local,
international)
• Core staff 6 persons + 30 experts
