Celebrating their 30th anniversary, Vernier is
providing 20 technology grants to K-12 schools that
describe how they would use the grant to further their
STEM goals or create engaging experiments for
science students. Grant awardees will each receive
$10,000 worth of Vernier technology equipment of
their choosing.

The Thomson Gale TEAMS Award is open to all K-12 public

Awards are given to K-12 educators pioneering new
teaching methods and techniques that improve learning
based on innovative methods, creativity, and ability to
positively influence students. Each year, 100 finalists
are selected to receive a $2,000 award, payable to both
the winning teacher and his or her school. At least one
award is granted in each of the 50 states, provided at
least one qualified application was received from each
state.

Up to $1,500 for middle and high schools whose students
submit votes to improve their school's technology.
The Teach@15 Award program helps schools serving any
grades 7-12 meet their technology needs. Teens (age 13-18)
who are registered members on at15.com ("Members") can
nominate their schools (depending on eligibility) to win a
Teach@15 Award. Teen members can vote for a nomination
once per day. Every 15 days, Best Buy will award 3 schools
with Best Buy Gift Cards based on member votes. The school
with the most votes will win $1,500, second most votes wins
$1,000 and third most votes wins $500.

The Jordan Fundamentals Grant Program recognizes outstanding
teaching and instructional creativity in public secondary schools that
serve economically disadvantaged students. First to twelfth grade
public school teachers or paraprofessionals in schools with at least 50%
of the student body eligible for free or reduced lunch may apply by
developing an original lesson plan or thematic unit that demonstrates
high expectations for students.
They may be used for resource materials, supplies, equipment,
transportation, costs related to field trips, software, and other items
required to implement and assess the proposed lesson or thematic unit.
