UNIT: STOCK MARKET GAME
Purpose of the Unit:
Through the Stock Market Game, the students will learn all about the stock market. They will learn how it all works, the history, and how to be involved
in the day to day trading transactions..
The Stock Market game is also used to teach the students to use the different Microsoft Office software (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel 2010). The
students will use Word and PowerPoint to create their Stock Portfolios, Company make-up, reasoning and synthesis, and portfolio presentation. We mostly use
Excel to create a spreadsheet of our month by month transactions. They will learn to use Excel to create formulas for calculations, create charts and graphs
displaying their portfolio progress, and cut an copy company logos and pictures from Google Images.
