Professor Jianbo Zhang joined the faculty of Remin University of China after
getting his Master degree from Nankai University in 1985. He was awarded the model
class adviser in 1987 before going to the Penn State University in 1987. He was
awarded the Donahoe Award of best Student and the Award of Creative Research in Micro
Economics. After he obtained his Ph. D in economics from Penn State under adviser
Larry Samuelson, He joined the University and Kansas as a faculty member of
Microeconomics and Game Theory. During the years, he served as a key faculty member
teaching the core courses in microeconomics, game theory, industrial organization,
decision theory and financial economic theory. Professor Zhang has make worldly know
contributions in evolutionary game theory, and information cascading, balanced
growth theory, and industrial organization, he has publication in Rand Journal of
Economics; Journal of International Economic Review, and Journal of Economic Theory.
Conducted in English. We study the role of government in a mixed economy; Efficiency
and Equity; Market Failures; Theory of Social Choice; Taxation and inter-government
fiscal relationships; Current topics about public finance in USA.
