MESSAGE
Unemployment is one among the other crises,
which has been spreading like cancer in the society. In order to give a
unique & better opportunity to the youth mass for their self-reliance,
the concept of KIRAN ITC was conceived.

OBJECTIVES OF KITC:
To bring the rising passed-out students into the main stream of
society with technical knowledge in an innovative method and to
enrich their inherent skills and talent so as to make them an asset
for any industrial sector.
To provide ample opportunity to the village unemployed youths for
their self-reliance through cottage industry.
To facilitate the passed-out trainees with Entrepreneurship
Development Prog. in collaboration with DIC ,Govt,Of Odisha.
To facilitate the local and out side well-established Industries with
honest, hard-working and a perfect Technical Staff as their
employee.
WHY VOCATIONAL TRAINING?
It is often seen that most of the students are curious only running
after official jobs which brings very rare opportunity for them.
Their career generally ends with pen, paper, Luxurious room and
high priced Vehicle Driving. So to say, this sort of chances are
not in the fate all students. Imitating others in the race of getting
comfortable job, many of us experiment frustration and harassed
life. Instead of leaving the youths in a parallax condition and unemployment crises, KITC has opened its door enabling trainees in
fulfilling their long-cherished goal through vocational Training.
Secondly due to globalize and liberalized market economic
condition , a large number of multinational company are entering
into Indian market to avoid the unemployment crises, as a result
huge opportunity are opened-up for trainees.

KIRAN INDUSTRIAL TRAINING CENTER (KITC) AT A GLANCE
Being the brain child of Kiran Educational &
Charitable Trust (KECT), Kiran ITC came into existence in the
year 2008. After a long time struggle and sincere efforts, Kiran
Industrial Training Center (KITC) has been able to stand as one of
the pioneer and leading Institution with its base at Benapura
(Rajghat), adjacent to bank of Holy River Subarna Rekha in the
district of Balasore.
Looking at the rapid growth of
industrialization & Globalization mushroom like private Technical
Institutions are appeared in the society in the name of providing
technical educations to the students.
But to our bitter experience in past few years, most of the
candidates are not only misguided but also deprived of choosing
a right institution as the appropriate platform of their technical
career. In this critical juncture, KIRAN ITC has come forward to
embrace the needy deserving candidates with a commitment of
providing best education to its beloved trainees.
The ITC is affiliated to NCVT, Govt. Of India, New Delhi vide
No.6/18/39/2009-TC,Dtd.29th Dec’2009 fulfilling all the norms &
conditions of DGE&T as well as DTE &T.

AIM OF KITC:
To enhance the knowledge of students on Industrialization.
To impart perfect, periodic and best training through veteran,
professional faculties and ultramodern workshop, CNC Machinery
equipments.
To make the trainees deserving for better earning and to expand
their inherent skill in all respect.
To multiply their inter Personal Development, Communication skill
through Group Discussion, Computer Education with Inter Net &
regular Spoken English Classes.
To ensure job opportunities for trainees through PLACEMENT
CELL and assisting them to self-reliant.
To make the trainees really professional in their trade concern in
meeting future challenges.
INFRASTRUCTURE OF KITC
The Institution does have its own pucca double storied building
consisting of independent Class rooms, Library Room, Lavatory,
Cycle stand, Trainee’s Common Room, Staff common room,
Conference Hall along with Chamber for Principal &
Management. The entire Institutional building is well electrified
and connected with water & sanitary systems.

HOSTEL
KITC Hostel is an added support to the trainees accommodating
themselves with electricity, sanitation & water facilities, separate
lavatory, spacious lawn and canteen-cum-dining hall. It does have
independent Administration, guidelines, rules & regulations under
KITC Management.
WORKSHOP
The Institution is proud enough for installing successfully a vast
and ultra modern workshop with branded Machinery equipments
fulfilling more than the requirement as per NCVT/DTE&T/DGE&T
norms and guidelines. Besides attending practical classes and
using machinery equipments individually, the trainees too are
given ample opportunity to do their best practical job work with
different extra running machines & electrical appliances. Trainees
are imparted too with CNC based theory & practical classes. No
Demo Machineries are entertained here.
KITC PLAY GROUND:
Besides indoor-game facilities the trainees are also given
opportunity to play out door games like cricket, volley ball, bedMinton and Foot Ball.

AGE LIMIT:
Candidates should not be below 14 years or above 40 years. Relaxation in age can
be considered in case of candidates belong to SC/ST/Minority category subject to
submission of relevant documents.
EXAMINATION
Besides perennial Theory & Practical classes the trainees have to
appear monthly Test on 10th Day of every month.
Quarterly & Half-yearly Test is conducted in the 3rd, 6th & 9th
Month of the session.
Annual Promotion Test is especially conducted at the end of 1st
year so as to facilitate the trainees for promotion to 2nd year.
At least 80% attendance is required for every examination.
The trainees have to acquire Minimum 40% pass mark in Theory
and 60% Mark in Practical to qualify himself.
Finally the trainees have to appear the ALL INDIA TRADE TEST
(AITT) in the month of July and the Supplementary (AITT) in the
month of January/February in case of Failed/not appeared
trainees.

RULES & REGULATIONS OF KITC
Enrolled candidates need to abide by discipline and
Administration of the ITC.
Trainees involved in any defamatory or objectionable l activities
will be awarded with disciplinary code of conduct as for Law.
The Institute reserves the right to recover the appropriate cost
from the trainees in case damaging materials/institutional
assets/tool & other machinery equipments with malafide intention.
Trainees must wear ITC Uniforms, Identity Card inside the ITC
campus.

Trainees are bound to obey and follow the instructions of the
Concern Trade ATOs/TOs/Principal & Management related to
their Training career.
All the correspondence made to the Institution should be
addressed to the Principal only.
Admission & other Subsidiary fees are Non-refundable in case of
Trainee’s discontinuance.
LIBRARY-CUM-STUDY ROOM
Library plays a major role in the academic arena of the campus.
In order to facilitate the trainees to multiply their knowledge in
every sector, KITC Library is developed. Trainees irrespective of
trade and age enjoy the Library very much. The Library consist
more than 2500 books including the Trade related study materials
of the trainees. Besides all these, Daily news paper (Oriya,
English & Hindi), Magazines etc are provided to the Library in
regular basis.
CANTEEN FACILITY:
In order to provide the trainees-hostel inmates & staffs residing in
the ITC campus, a well-formed canteen is opened. The cook
appointed here takes care of preparing delicious & hygienic meal,
tea, snacks and Tiffin etc in time.

CLASS ROOM:
There are different class rooms in the ITC campus for the
trainees as per the trade & its subjects. All the class rooms are
electrified and well-furnished with assets like, bench, desks,
chairs, tables, blackboard, fan & other electrical & electronic
facilities. Besides separate class rooms for year-wise trainees,
the ITC building consists a vast Common Room especially for
trainees to be get-together for better inter-action.
STORE ROOM:
In the Industrial training Sector, Store room has its own
importance and necessity for providing machinery equipments ,
tool kits and other needy instruments to the trainees, during their
practical training soon after theory classes. A specific staff is
appointed to take care of the store and to support the ATOs, TOs
& Trainees to get their required material in time. The store
in-charge is the sole authority to issue and collect back the issued
materials from the trainees in useable condition so as to facilitate
the trainees again in a regular basis. Before appearing any
examination, the trainees concerned need to get clearance from
the store in charge in all respect.

METHOD OF TEACHING:
The prevailing teaching method is purely based on NCVT, DTE&T
SCTE &VT guidelines. Besides attending perfect theory classes,
the trainees are imparted with absolute practical training through
modernized machines & machinery equipments well installed in
the Workshop. Apart from their regular classes, the trainees are at
their liberty to attend extra coaching classes free of cost after
class hour.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
Besides Theory & Practical classes (related to TRADE), the
ITC Provides:
→ Spoken English Classes with certificate,
→ Inter Personality Development Training,
→ Inter action skill development through Group discussion,
→ Computer Course & inter Net,
→ Communication Skill & Speech,
→ First Aid Training,
→ Special classes on General Knowledge (G.K.)
→ Seminar on Entrepreneurship development programmes

PROVISIONAL NATIONAL TRADE CERTIFICATE (PNTC) &
NATIONAL TRADE CERTIFICATE (NTC):
All the passed out trainees are awarded with Provisional National
Trade Certificate-cum- Memorandum of Marks (PNTC) duly
issued by SCTE & VT, Govt. Of Orissa, Bhubaneswar & National
trade Certificate (NTC) in the due course of time issued by NCVT,
Govt. Of India, New Delhi.
HOLIDAYS CALANDER:
The institution remains closed on specific holidays as declared by
Ministry of Labour , DGE&T, Govt. of India calendar year. Apart
from these, the ITC reserves right to declare special holiday on
certain local festivals & Issues.
ENCLOSURES WITH APPLICATION FORM:
The Trainees need to enclose all the Xerox certificates as follows :
→ HSC Marks sheet
→ HSC Board Certificate (if issued)
→ Caste Certificate
→ Migration Certificate
→ Income Certificate (in case of ST, SC)
→ Five recent passport size including one stamp size for ID Card)

SUBMISSION OF ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES:
The Trainees must submit the Original Certificates like:
→ Transfer Certificate (TC)/SLC/CLC,
→ Migration Certificates,
→ HSC Board Certificate (if issued with),
→ HSC Mark sheet (provisional),
→ Caste & Income Certificate (in case of SC /ST category)
Positively for the purpose of Registration, Verification at SCTE
&VT,BBSR level as and when required.
TERMS OF PAYMENT:
The trainees have to pay the following fees at the time of admission:

APPLICATION FORMS ALONG WITH PROSPECTUS.
The application Form-cum-Prospectus can be obtained from the
Admission-in-Charge .
Forms issued once in the name of any candidate can not be
altered in favour of another one.
The candidates need to submit the Application Form duly filled up
by his own hand writing along with all afore stated enclosures
within 10 days from receipt of Application Form Issue Date before
the Admission In-charge or Principal directly or by postal service.
