3. What does the Armenian Genocide show about the nature of conflict during WWI? Based on the definition
of genocide from the UN Charter, is the Armenian Genocide truly a “genocide?”
4. Analyze why the United States became involved in the war. Use at least 2-3 pieces of evidence to support
your claim.
5. Why did Germany lose the war? Offer and describe at least three factors that contributed to Germany’s
failure. Should Germany be blamed for the war?
