Qualifications:
Plans and conducts IT Internal Audit projects including application controls, physical and logical
security, change management, new systems acquisition, development and implementation,
security, data center controls and disaster recovery.
Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems. Use
knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify issues and
communicate to IA team members.
Ability to document business processes related to information technology.
Collaborate with other members of Internal Audit to plan and develop work program timelines,
risk assessments, and other planning documents.
Additionally, conduct required steps in the standard audit process to include, planning, detail
testing, exception and management and compilation to the Board Report.
Analyzes data gathered to evaluate effectiveness of controls, determine accuracy of reports and
efficiency and security of operations.
Plans for and performs information technology audits for external auditors to rely on for testing
purposes, as well acts as a liaison between the external auditors and IT department.
Participants on project teams for the implementation of systems and upgrades related to
processes for internal controls and security.
Develops and maintains a relationship with the IT department and provides IT controls advisory
assistance, when appropriate.
Educates Internal Audit Department in assessing and addressing IT risks in operational and
financial audit projects. Interacts with Internal Audit management for support and
recommendations. May supervise audit staff in IT related engagements.
Performs or assists in data analytics and data mining projects using Computer Assisted Auditing
Techniques and tools such as Audit Control Language (ACL), Crystal reporting, or Access.
A minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience as IT Auditor with public accounting or
professional services firm. Significant experience in applying relevant technical knowledge in financial
statement, internal or operational audits; SSAE 16 reviews; and/or ERP security and control reviews

Ability to work independently to achieve goals, innovate procedures, and prioritize work assignments.
Excellent organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills. Act as a resource to
other IA staff.
BS/BA degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems or a related
field is required.
CISA or CPA is desired. Certifications would be required for advancement within IA department.
Local travel between Virtua locations
