• KFC was founded in 1930 by Colonel Harland
Sanders
• The first Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise
opened in Utah in 1952
• KFC is a fast food restaurant that specializes in
making fried chicken.

includes Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, LJ’s and A&W.
• KFC is currently the world’s second largest

After forty years old, started his career with selling fried chicken
at the roadside in Corbin, Kentuckey, during the Great Depression.
Became a legendary figure of American cultural history by gotten
Kentuckey Colonel in 1935.
Sold KFC to a group of investors led by Jack Massey and John Y.
Browning 1963.
Visited KFC restaurants as a spokesman.
Died of leukemia at 90 in Louisville, Kentuckey.
