website www.bai.ie before completing this Application Form. The Guide will tell you how to complete
this Form by explaining the BAI requirements for each section and what elements are mandatory for
your project.
Complete the Application Form using the order shown in the Contents overleaf. When completed,
save as one PDF document no greater than 8MB and submit to the BAI as instructed in the Guide for
Applicants. By submitting your Application Form to the Sound & Vision II you are confirming the
following to the BAI:





that you have read and understood Sound & Vision II – The Broadcasting Funding Scheme and
the most recent Guide for Applicants;
that your proposed project is new;
that your proposed project is not a news and current affairs programme;
that production on the proposed project has not yet commenced; and
that you are ready to go in to production on the proposed project.

6. Conflict of Interest:
In the box below, disclose any connection with BAI employees or the BAI in general which could
result in a conflict of interest in assessing or funding this application. Describe:
(1) any details in relation to your employment and all other business or professional interests
including shareholdings, directorships, professional relationships etc., and
(2) any interests of your family of which you could be expected to be reasonably aware or a

8. Sensitive Data:
All applications are seen by assessors external to the BAI, as part of the assessment process. After
funding decisions are ratified by the BAI, applications are subject to the provisions of the Freedom of
Information Act, 1997 and the Freedom of Information (Amendment) Act 2003. If there is any
information in this application which you think should not be disclosed because of its sensitivity,
please set it out below with your reasons why it is considered sensitive. The BAI shall take the
reasons into account before making a decision on any request to view this application received under
Freedom of Information legislation.
