verbs in the same tense (to swim, to walk, to run) and sports equipment vocabulary.
I would like Carlos to be able to use the present tense of the verb to play in all forms
Aim
(I,We, you, he/she/it, and you plural) as well as identify some sports equipment that may
be foreign to him. If he can identify by picture quickly, then I would also like him to be
able to spell the names of the sport as well as the equipment used for it.
Student should be able to identify the name of different sports (Tennis, Basketball,
Objective
American Football, football (soccer), Baseball, Cycling, ect.) as well as identify certain
sports equipment by name. He should also be able to say which sport each piece of
equipment is associated with (i.e. shin guards to football, baseball glove to baseball, tennis
racket to tennis). Finally, he should be able to use the present tense of the verb “to play” to
create sentence. (i.e. he plays sports, she plays football, we play basketball).
Knowledge He knows the I, you, we, he/she/it, and you plural pronouns. He knows about football.

notes
-The lesson did go to plan. Timing of activities was good. Difficulty of activities was of a
good level. Challenging vocab
-Trouble with graded language. Question from a cup activity could have been better.
Questions were not creative enough/did not illicit target material as well as I wanted.
Maybe start with a paradigm next time.
-Paradigm did not last as long/go as smoothly as I wanted. Need to make it more
organized (check megan’s notes)
-Worksheet did not last as long as planned. Next time, if answer is yes, cross it out and
make him do negative. Vice versa for negative answers.
-CHECK MY GRADED LANGUAGE/RUNNING COMMENTARY. Just practice what
I’m saying more and K.I.S.S. it

Carlos 45 low
did very well, showed a very honest enthusiasm for learning. doesn't show much emotion
beginner but he worked hard the whole time to give me the answers I was looking for. Has some
issues with pronunciation and finishing/completing his words (ie Mike sounds like “my”
without the “k” sound)
