DIVIDE SKETCHBOOK PAGE INTO 9 SECTIONS. 2. Look at images on iPad power point for ideas. 3. Draw vessel shapes in the rectangles. Make sure they have a flat bottom. 4. Be creative. 5. Think about a form that will hold face sculptures. 6. Prob should be larger than 5 inches to hold the FACE SCULPTURES. Unusual Slab Vessel Today’s goal: • Create a template for a new slab piece. • Must be functional. • Must be an unusual shape that is not just a square/ cube or simple cylinder. • Look at images. Objective: You will describe and analyze clay vessels and templates in order define and apply techniques to create a functional slab piece.
