Ensure together with the Business Improvement Officer and our IT partners that the requirements are accurately translated into system developments. Analyse business processes within the company and recommend projects to improve the effectiveness of those processes. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Subway smartcard ticketing system. Key Responsibilities: Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Utilise your experience in using company-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required. Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language. Collaborate with developers and subject matter expert to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs. Analyses and documents both current and new business processes, in line with strategic direction, identifying the needs and responsibilities of users through various techniques including interview, document analysis, workshops, surveys, product analysis and workflow analysis. Recommend systems improvements and controls by studying current practices, understanding business objectives and proposing solutions Monitor project progress including tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions. Maintain system protocols by writing, updating and communicating procedures. Provide support for SPT business systems by writing and maintaining user documentation, providing help desk support and training users. Assist with Data Conversion and Clean-up Activities.
