About Us
Durdens Catering LLC, is an independent off-premise catering company headed
by Rytonie “Chef Tony” Durden Jr. CC. Chef Tony received his formal culinary training at
Baker College through their premiere culinary program, better known as The Culinary
Institute of Michigan. We are one of the premier caterers in the Metropolitan Detroit area
looking to serve at your next event. Our Culinary team is a well-rounded group of
accomplished individuals with years of combined experience. We believe in cooking with
the finest products and ingredients. Our food is prepared to comfort and soothe each an
every palate. We have great tasting food, exceptional customer service and will cater any
event to fit your budget. We are committed to what we do by creating excellent food and

*Service/ Gratuity Charge: The service charge pays for the services of
transportation, fuel, and admin labor. It is based on many factors: the type of event,
the size, the venue, the complexity of food service and presentation and the amount
of labor required, as well as venue imposed fees.
Catering Terms and Conditions
• All prices are subject to change without notice. (Except for events for which a contract
has been executed).
• A Non-Refundable Security Deposit is required to secure your event date. The Deposit
shall apply against the total invoice of said event. The deposit is half of the total
event price.
• The final menu and guest count is due fourteen (14) days prior to the Contracted event
date. Guest count cannot decrease only increase once deposit is given.
• 18% service charge shall be added to all contracted events of which service is required.
(Gratuity)*
• 6% State Sales Tax shall be added to all events. (Tax-exempt clients must provide blanket
certificate prior to event date).
• Delivery orders for more than $250.00 will have the delivery charge waved. All others
will see a $25 delivery charge.
• The Final Balance is due seven (7) days prior to the contracted event date.
Final Method of Payment must be by Check, Cash, or Cashiers Check.
• Client must be responsible for all changes made to contracted event in writing on the
Contracted Catering Invoice.
• Cancellations must be made in writing 72-hours prior to the contracted event, or the
Contracted Event final balance becomes Non-refundable.
• Overtime-Service hours shall be applied when event exceeds contracted “End” time.
• Service Personnel $20.00 per hour per server (4 hour minimum)
Overtime rate shall be billed at $30.00 per hour per server.
• Hall and or Banquet Facility Fees, Percentage, or Service charges are the sole
responsibility of the Contracted Client. Table and Chair set-up and breakdown are
subject to a $2.00 per guest service charge.
• All finalizations and logistics for Contracted Event shall be arranged and finalized
fourteen (14) days prior to Contracted Event date.
