The Trust requires the equivalent of 9 * 15 DIN washer disinfector chambers fully complying with BS ISO 15883
parts 1 & 2, operating at a utilization factor of 0.6 and a 45 min cycle.
The utilization factor and cycle time is fixed but the Trust may accept a reduced number of chambers by the use of a
larger capacity, e.g. an 18 din, washer which is practical and usable to the department.
All washers must be fitted with automatic loading, discharge and automatic cycle selection.
The washers should default to the validated universal cycle.
The successful supplier will be responsible for all enabling works and installation and the department will remain in
production during the changeover.

The Sterile services department is trained to provide a first
line support to the existing machines, will they be able to
change parts and continue to provide this level of support,
with appropriate technical training, without affecting the
warranty to the new machines. Please confirm Y/N

User Instructions - An introduction to the Washer-disinfector
from the user's area, loading the Washer-disinfector (including

section is to be described.
PPM – Using the manual, every ppm task shall be
demonstrated on the Washer- Disinfector (Note these tasks are
to be demonstrated without reference to frequency
Cycle Control - A cycle shall be completed and the Washerdisinfector stalled in every stage or sub¬-stage. By using the
manual each valve, relay etc. contributing to that stage to be
identified and demonstrated to be operating satisfactorily.
