SAT www.collegeboard.com SAT I Reasoning Test Three hours and forty-five minutes long Student written essay and multiple-choice writing section Measures verbal and mathematic reasoning abilities related to successful performance in college Math section includes some Algebra II questions Measures reasoning ability and problem solving skills Scores range from 200-800 in verbal, math, writing SAT II Subject Tests These tests are designed to measure knowledge in specific subject areas and the student’s ability to apply that knowledge. Tests are available in: Literature, Languages, Mathematics, Sciences, History. Scores range from 200-800 for each test. Selective colleges may require the SAT II in addition to the SAT I.
